Join us for iScan24 - SPOCUS's annual meducational ultrasound event for students!
This year we will offer students a chance to show off their point-of-care ultrasound skills, compete with other students from around the country, and learn from ultrasound experts across a variety of medical specialties.
This year’s event will be held at the amazing Marriott Marquis Houston, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Plan on about 3 hours of scan time, plus an additional hour if your squad makes it to the finals!
Prizes will be awarded to teams with the highest point totals. During the event, students will not only get tons of hands-on scan time, but will also answer clinical knowledge questions (ie, name Virchow’s triad), interpret ultrasound clips, provide suggestions on improving image quality, and integrate information into clinical scenarios. Pre-competition information and study materials to help you prepare will be sent out after registration.
No time to review pre-course information beforehand? Not super sono savvy? Bad wifi connection? No worries! It's meant to be fun medutainment with a chance to interact with sono-savvy PA pros on all topics PA and POCUS! Ultrasound beginners are welcomed and encouraged to attend!

What: A round-robin style competition for students (recent graduates within the last 4 months also eligible)
When: May 21, 2024 at 9:00 am local time (expect the first round to last ~3 hours and finals to last ~60 minutes)
Why: Because ultrasound is awesome and you want to win yourself and your school mad respect and cool prizes.
Limit two teams per school, and two "individual" registrations per school.
